Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to services purchased from Syril Infotech Private Limited (“Syril Infotech”, “we”, “us”, “our”) through [https://syrilinfotech.com] or via proposal, invoice, email, or written agreement.

By confirming a proposal, paying an invoice, or starting a project, you agree to this policy.

1) Nature of Services

Syril Infotech provides professional services such as digital marketing, Meta advertising campaigns (Facebook and Instagram), Google advertising campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube), search engine optimization (SEO), local search engine optimization (Google Business Profile), social media management, lead generation and funnels, personal branding (LinkedIn), content and copywriting, creative design, video production and editing, email marketing, and WordPress websites and landing pages.

Because these are time-based, effort-based, and custom-delivered services, refunds are limited.

2) Cancellations (Before Work Starts)

If you cancel before work begins, refunds are handled as follows:

  • Consultation / discovery fees: Non-refundable (if already delivered).
  • Advance payments: Refundable only if no work has started, minus any administrative/payment gateway charges.
  • Work start definition: Work is considered started when any of the following begins: onboarding call, strategy planning, research, access setup, creative drafting, campaign setup, website work, content writing, or tracking configuration.

3) Cancellations (After Work Starts)

If you cancel after work has started:

  • Payments made are non-refundable for work already completed or in progress.
  • If you have paid for a future period (such as a monthly retainer), any refund (if applicable) is calculated only for unused scope, after deducting work completed, committed resources, and administrative charges.
  • Refund decisions are made after an internal review and shared in writing.

4) Monthly Retainers (Marketing, Management, Optimization)

For monthly service plans (example: social media management, advertising management, search engine optimization, email marketing):

  • You may cancel by providing [15 days] written notice before the next billing cycle.
  • If cancellation is requested mid-cycle, the current month fee remains payable and no refund is provided for that period, since resources and schedules are allocated in advance.

5) Advertising Spend and Third-Party Costs

  • Advertising spend paid to platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, etc.) is non-refundable and is governed by the platform’s policies.
  • Third-party tools, plugins, stock assets, hosting, domains, email services, or subscriptions purchased for your project are non-refundable, unless the vendor provides a refund under their policy.
  • Any such costs will be communicated before purchase whenever possible.

6) Website Development and One-Time Projects

For one-time projects such as WordPress websites, landing pages, creative design, video editing, or content writing:

  • Payments are milestone-based or project-based, as stated in the proposal/invoice.
  • Once a milestone is approved or delivered, it is non-refundable.
  • If the project is stopped mid-way, the client must pay for work completed up to that point, including drafts and partial deliverables.

7) No Refund for Delays Caused by Client

Refunds will not be provided if delays happen due to:

  • Late approvals, missing inputs, or delayed access
  • Changes in scope without revised timelines
  • Client-side technical issues (website, hosting, platform restrictions)
  • Platform disapprovals or account limitations outside our control

8) Disputes and Resolution

If you are unhappy, please contact us first. We will:

  • Review the issue within 5–7 business days
  • Share a clear action plan to resolve it (revisions, fixes, or next steps)
  • Provide a written update

We believe most issues can be solved through communication and clear scope alignment.

9) How to Request Cancellation

To cancel a service or request review, email us with:

  • Your name and business name
  • Invoice number or project name
  • Reason for cancellation
  • Any supporting information
